THAI FOOT MASSAGE
Thai Foot Massage is performed by massaging the lower part of the legs and also the feet, by applying pressure to particular areas. By doing this a reflex action on another part of the body is affected and stimulated by the manipulation of each specific area. A stick is also used to stimulate the reflex points in the feet.
It is a traditional technique that has been practiced in Thailand for over 2,000 years, and is believed to still be practised by the buddhist monks in the temples, and has elements of Shiatsu, Chinese massage and Reflexology incorporated into the treatment.
It helps to improve circulation in the legs and hands, and stimulates lymphatic drainage.
Helps with flexibility and stiffness in the legs, helps to boost and detoxify the immune system.
